In this role, you will be accountable for managing and mitigating the commercial, legal and reputational risks associated with poor ethical and environmental supplier performance across our Group-wide global supply chain and accountable for assuring security of supply for the commodities our core brand offerings rely on, future proofing our business and product offering.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

What you’ll do:
- Assess the organisation’s current supply chain performance and lead in formulating a business response to the key issues.
- Define the plc targets and commitments for responsible sourcing and ensure they are met.
- Develop and manage the implementation of responsible sourcing strategy.
- responsible for ensuring the company is compliant with relevant supply chain legislation such as EU Deforestation Act, UK Forest Risk Commodities Act and future requirements such as CSRD and CSDDD.
- Influencing stakeholders to gain support for integrating sustainability into core procurement processes.
What we need:
- Knowledge and passion for Sustainability including subject matter expertise for relevant areas of the programme, for example ethical trade.
- Experience managing or undertaking ethical audits (e.g. SMETA / BSCI)
- Responsible and ethical sourcing project management.
- Understanding of how Sustainability can add value to our business (to the customer, our team and shareholders). #LI1-MS
