Role Overview
Are you ready to lead how data shapes people decisions at scale? As a People Insight Lead, you will play a critical role in driving a step-change in how insight informs strategy, partnering senior stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics that influence business direction.
This is more than a reporting role; it’s an opportunity to transform the way People data is used, moving from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-led decision making. You will lead the development of a modern, automated reporting ecosystem, building scalable dashboards, embedding self-service capability, and helping to create a unified “single view” of employee data.
Working at the intersection of People, Finance and Technology, you will translate business priorities into clear analytics roadmaps by delivering deep insights on areas such as retention, hiring, talent, engagement and productivity. You will also introduce more advanced and predictive techniques, ensuring data not only explains the past but shapes the future.
A key part of the role is data leadership: you will mentor analysts, elevate data literacy, and champion best practice in data storytelling and governance. You will work directly with senior leaders, influencing decision-making and ensuring insight is embedded into everyday thinking.
This is a highly visible role where you will see the direct impact of your work, building capability, driving innovation and helping create a truly insight-led organisation.
Minimum Criteria:
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable reporting solutions (e.g. building Power BI dashboards, defining KPI frameworks, and standardising metrics across a business)
- Demonstrable track record of partnering senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytics roadmaps and actionable insight outputs
- Strong experience working with People/HR data and systems (e.g. Dayforce) and enterprise data platforms (e.g. Azure), including ensuring data quality, governance and compliance
- Hands-on experience applying advanced analytical techniques (e.g. trend analysis, predictive modelling, statistical methods) to generate business insight
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts and managing delivery pipelines/backlogs, including prioritisation of insight requests aligned to business impact
